Most of the time, the organizers still rely on old-school PR methods that just don’t attract people anymore; they assume they know everything and refuse to bring in professionals who can actually market and fill up the place.
So what happens? You’ll find the MC is an organizer, the DJ is too, and the performers are mostly their friends—meaning the hall is half-empty, and the only people hyping performances are the organizers themselves. If Minna events are going to really thrive, organizers need to work with real promoters and bring in acts the audience genuinely wants to see.
