INVITATION TO NOMINATE FOR THE 2022 NIGER MILLENNIUM AFRICA PRODUCTIVITY ACHIEVER'S AWARD
The Management of Millennium Africa Global Initiative wishes to use this medium to invite the general public to propose one or several deserving candidates for the 2022 (10th edition) award categories.
The award is given for meritorious humanitarian accomplishments and in recognition of outstanding philanthropists who have contributed in no small measure to humanitarianism in the State. We honor those who have used their positions and resources to advance the cause of humanity in general, particularly with specific reference to those that promotes peace, community development and also reduces sufferings among women, children and youth; recognize humanitarian and non-profit services providers; recognize independent research work in the field of humanitarianism with potential relevance to improving national emergency management and curtailing humanitarian crisis.
The essence of this public engagement in the nomination and selection process for the award is to ensure transparency and independent evaluation of nominees’ records, and by extension help to create a database of individuals and corporate organizations actively involved in humanitarian services across the nation.
This eventually forms the basis for the tasks of finding award recipients who, in the spirit of credibility, best promote humanitarianism.
NOMINATIONS INSTRUCTIONS
Each nomination must include: a letter of support outlining the basis for the nomination and the significance of the candidate’s work; and a brief curriculum vitae for the nominee, including a verifiable list of the nominee’s humanitarian works and projects as they relate to the award category being nominated for. Please be aware that certain awards have additional requirements.
All materials for a nomination must be submitted electronically to info exposuremaawards@gmail.com, millenniumafricaglobalinitiativ@gmail.com. Incomplete or late nominations will not be considered. When submitting your nomination by email, kindly indicate the award and the name of the candidate being nominated in your subject line.
Nominations for each award will be retained for 1 year. Nominations received in response to this call will be considered for just 2022 awards selection. Nominations can be updated and resubmitted at any time.
Membership is not a requirement to receive The Millennium Africa productivity Award.
SELECTION PROCESS
Confidential award selection juries are appointed each year.
Juries rank the candidates based on the award criteria. An individual who has received award in the past is eligible to receive another award for accomplishments not previously recognized.
An award is usually given to 1 person, but a jury may recommend that the award be given to 2 or more individuals who collaborated in humanitarian projects.
Similarly, a jury can determine that there are no deserving candidates in a given year.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is 4th of JULY , 2022
WHY YOU SHOULD NOMINATE
Often when people are nominated for an award, if they don’t win, they will never even know they were being considered for it, and they won’t see the thoughtful impact of their nomination which explains exactly why others regard them as being exceptional.
The nomination for an award itself is important: it’s something that allows others to highlight how special an individual is, and explain clearly why this is so. Being able to see why others feel an individual is deserving of recognition through nomination can be as satisfying as winning the award, which is why it’s a core point of this award that all nominations will be made public and published accordingly. In this way, both the nominee and the wider profession can see how their work is valued and appreciated.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF AWARD RECIPIENTS
The names of the award recipients will be made public once all the recipients have been contacted.
The award recipients will be hosted to an AWARD & INVESTITURE RECEPTION on 25th of OCTOBER, 2022 (MILLENNIUM AFRICA PRODUCTIVITY Day) at Justice legbo kutigi international conference hall minna, by 2:00pm.
