Young John A.K.A The wicked Producer Pens Deal With Chocolate City



John Saviours Udomboso aka Young Jonn, a popular Nigerian music producer, has secured an artist recording deal with Chocolate City, Nigeria’s leading record label.

The deal would see the Hitmaker switch from producer to recording artist.

Young Jonn followed up his signing with Chocolate City by releasing his first single, ‘Dada.’

Young Jonn is known for producing beats for artists such as Kizz 
Daniel’s ‘Ello Baby,’ Naira Marley’s ‘Mafo,’ and Lil Kesh ft Zinoleesky’s ‘Don’t Call Me,’ among others.
Dada is an open expression of my artistry and how I can make so much beautiful music,” Young Jonn says of the new track.

The producer has matured into an artist and created a persona around his new identity after a decade in the music industry.

The lead track from his upcoming EP, Love Is Not Enough Vol. 1, is titled “Dada,” and is set to be released on April 1, 2022.

Young John, the Nigerian music producer, has now signed to Chocolate City in a surprise move.

The music label announced the producer’s rebrand in a statement to newsmen yesterday.

"We are thrilled to announce Young John as the latest signee to the Chocolate City Music family,” the statement read.

“Young Jonn is re-introducing himself, as not just an important and brilliant record producer in the Afrobeats genre but also as a talented and diverse musical artist who is ready to take over the world.

“He has an outstanding catalogue of many classic hit songs, having worked on songs like ‘Mafo’ by Naira Marley, Story for the Gods’ By Olamide, newly released ‘Don’t Call Me’ by Lil Kesh ft Zinoleesky, and many more.

“However, Young Jonn is now ready to grace the music industry with his vocal talent and establish himself as an excellent artist overall.

“The star is working on his first EP and first major label debut which is set to drop soon! We’re really excited and proud to have him join us on his new journey!”
